I originally painted “Fae Retracted” in watercolour, coloured pencil + ink on cold press watercolour paper. This listing is for a printed reproduction of the artwork.

This painting was inspired by the body positive movement. I find it wonderful that women of all shapes and sizes are now being celebrated for their authentic body type, whatever that may be. However, it doesn’t always feel that way and I hope that one day we can all feel beautiful in our own skin – I hope she does too.
